One guy did a buuld with sulfer cubes and two special mobs in this automatic volleyball game where you could make bets on which wins. Put a Illager with the nametag of "Johnny" on one side, and a Zombie Hoglin on the other and they'll attack the aulfer cube and launch it around and over the wall and into a goal where it'll be collected via water currents and dispensed back up to the top. You can even use those mobs if you wanted to have a challenger. Maybe you could also use the Mob Enrager wand but I've never seen anyone try it before. Give it a go and tell me if it works?
