Etho putting the dirt up in his house to steal cleo's bed while everyone was arguing was the funniest thing i've seen in ages

A more technical description of design is perhaps something like this. "Repetition feeds satisfaction from recognition. Variation feeds curiosity from exploring." Generally, both values bring most people happiness. So providing at least a little of both is a good option. But some people value one experience more than the other and that is what makes the deciding factor. Who you are building for can also matter. I personally value patterns a lot more than I do exploring. So I actually dislike common techniques like color variations in the floor and walls. This is what puts a deciding factor on which people will grab the attention on what type of viewer. While I recognize the other Hermit's talents, not all of their builds are for me.

personally, i'm a massive fan of the 40-50ish minute episodes it's so nice to just sit down for an hour and just watch my favorite youtuber. but honestly if they are harder to edit or less fun to make then go back to 20-30ish minute videos. Edit: Just wanted to thank y'all for all the likes it made my day :3

I love the amount of collaboration in this season. It really feels like everyone is just always online and ready hang out at any time.

I love Etho's bone-dry humor: "Oh, you know what'd make this even better? If we had some, like, relaxing music to attract the fishies. *plays disc 13*"

This is actually a genius way of getting people to watch everyone’s episodes to see what all the tasks ended up being!

- revolutionizes item sorters after years of people using the same design - its so much more compact and fits multiple items in one tileable row - it requires next to no redstone and fewer hoppers - the design came to him in a dream - he buried it in a 1 hour hermitcraft video

"I just do weird things like this all the time, I'm quirky" Etho is probably the only one who can use that excuse

Edit:Spoilers for the vid so I don’t accidentally spoil it for mobile users I love how Etho went from being sad he got a glass permit to getting all of them

I love how immediately Bdubs and Etho found each other. They are really best friends and I love it.

Did you know they actually featured Etho in an indie anime called “Naruto”. They made his character the coolest to reflex Etho’s personality.

Iskall’s extra 1% could be a piece of coal. Coal under high pressure turns into diamond, so every stack you sell, give him one coal

Fun fact: the odds of getting 5 enchantments on a level 30 enchantment of a bow are roughly 1 in 381

i feel like this season is defined so far by everyone coming in with a healthy mindset of wanting to just enjoy the game, good company, and the creative process. Its cozy and wholesome and i enjoy every second etho is on screen

I love the idea that the cherry biome is long gone- but you have a random, maybe slightly secret little back room with some dingy skylight windows and one small cherry tree tucked away. Kind of like the vibe of the half finished rooms in the portal game. Love the idea of industrial-junkyard with parkour!

I want someone to make fanart of Etho coming out of the dungeon, battered and bruised, smiling and missing half his teeths with the hermits crowding around him shouting "HOW ARE YOU STILL ALIVE!!?"

Hermitcraft S10#4: Permit My Frog Storage

Doc is actually the nicest. He spent his first day getting villager trading set up and he freely let everyone use it even to the point of cleo stealing the villagers.

10:30 Etho finds a skeleton spawner "I don't really need it now, but...." 26:36 Etho builds a micro farm. "I don't actually have any bonemeal." Me: 🤔 Maybe we'll see the linking of these in the next episode or two?

The fact that we've finally seen the fabled tissue box is glorious. This is a legendary moment. You've talked about the tissue box more than once in your singleplayer series and I've been fascinated since. Cub would love to get his hands on that for the Hermitcraft Museum! ❤

The Secret mechanic is going to bring a very fresh kind of tension across the whole series because everyone is on edge for very different reasons. I might end up watching more perspectives than ever because of how each persons secret will change the scene. One man's "I stole this from Lizzie and Etho just happened to be nearby" is another man's "Why did Martin do that!? I needed that!"

honestly the best part of these episodes are the little interactions between etho and the hermits. unscripted, unfiltered reminders of the collaborative nature of the server (and any server, actually) is always great

In this episode, Etho: 1. Invents a new super efficient way to collect deepslate 2. Reveals an insane mega moss farm that is not only super efficient but also looks cool as hell 3. Recreates frogger in Minecraft, using an advanced queuing system and randomized delay to offset movement patterns 4. Reveals that he started learning coding when he was EIGHT 5. Reveals that he used to play MMOs with multiple accounts controlled by his feet? 6. Shows off a suuuuper cool enchanting set up with supply visualizers These videos are always such a treat. I don’t know how he does it, but I am always amazed with what he makes next.

I love how Etho is dippping his feet into the story telling aspect of building. Every season he's growing. After the beautiful cabin and builds of last season he's challenging himself even more.

Etho programming Frogger at age 9 really speaks to his intelligence, curiosity, and grit to see projects through.
