If you like Roleplay, Building and Community content watch Empires. They each choose a character concept (like goblin, evil wizard, princess, zeus and more) and build a town while roleplaying the character of their choice. Really fun storylines and lots of fairly tame pranks (usually).

Dude, not just hypixel, minecraft died. MCC was when minecraft was peak, and after technoblade passed, viewership declined, and minecraft became irrelevant, except a movie with Jack Black came

i do really wish each minigame had more players, but it seems like people nowadays would rather play skyblock: look at the skyblock player count compared to everything else also i love disasters, i was watching old grian videos and i saw that he originally made the disasters minigame but his server was long shut down, i'm really glad that hypixel has now made it playable again, it even has the exact same disasters like swappage, as well as new ones

skyblock was what ruined hypixel, it on average has abt 20k players daily. it killed almost every other hypixel exclusive game like mega walls, warlords, the classic games shit and everything else besides non hypixel exclusive games like bedwars, skywars etc. Skyblock never shoudlve been added. i get they added their own spin to it and it does really well and honestly if its got 20k average players daily obviously its probably the best skyblock game ever but doesnt take away the fact that it ruined every other game on their server. Back in the day you woudlve filled any game on the network withing 5 minutes of joining (including 100 player games, warlords, mega walls, etc.)

I missed Minecraft Live because I had to work. But when I saw the videos (the captions already gave it away), I was pretty surprised. I'm a huge end update fan so when I saw the teaser for a new dimension in vanila Minecraft, my initial thoughts were: "What about the end update? Why so many endermen in the Minecraft Live teasers?" But my second thought was: "Fair enough!" Having been wishing for an end update for years and been underwhelmed at every Minecraft Live since the Wild update, I prepared myself by having low expectations. Mojang teasing the end update in the Ender Cup but then not delivering was a move I still haven't understood yet. I have made peace with the fact that the end update might need more years than I expected. At least shulker shells have been farmable for a few years; that's already something important to me. Ibxtoycat gave me also the inspiration to "make your own end update" by building in this dimension. So that's what I'm doing right now. I'm building a civilisation of cured villagers in the void. I'm building a city in the middle of nothing. No end update needed for me. For now. Still hoping for one, though. But with the big one dropping, it'll probably take another few years. Maybe with the release of a third Minecraft movie. In the meantime, I'm hoping Mojang adds something in one of their drops that I desperately wish: a method to farm sand without glitches or wandering traders.
